The owner of the hotel was an architect himself and he provided insightful commentary on the hotel's design and architecture. It was a delightful and enriching experience to learn about Tirana's rich architectural heritage from someone so passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. The bottle of wine provided by the owner was a thoughtful gesture that added an extra touch of warmth and hospitality to our stay. Our host Erald made sure that we could park our camper van (height 2.0m) in the nearby underground parking; the hotel has a few reserved places there, which are without additional fees. Access is restricted; so it was safe to leave the van overnight. From the hotel it was possible to use our bikes to get to the city center along the river Lana. The team was very attentive and the lobby/breakfast area is nicely decorated. For breakfast there are 3 options to choose from (no buffet); the continental version was very good, also for quantity.

Location ok, 2.5 km from Skanderbeg square, with good connecting road. Air conditioning was working well in the apartment, critical in the 35C heat. Apartment was spacious, bathroom nice and functional. Elevator to the upper floors. Street not too noisy at night. The apartment had a kitchenette, which we didn't use, with the exception of the fridge.
